If He is to go, then we know
The Three will have to ask them
And they may not take it kindly,
He no father and she not with child.
And the Three must ask all the others too,
Who may protest the bypass of biology
And the godly affection not to be denied:
Everyone may find it most intrusive.
Perhaps the Three will send some angels,
Two or three, to work it out with them,
Likely agree virginity or innocence,
Whether hers or his or theirs
Is not losable but being always able
To make room for the Spirit's grace.
Should we volunteer to go now
Just as we are, or codified in dreams?
