Bright city lights evaded at last

Darkness envelopes me

The hush of the night pierced

By the sudden high pitched howls of wolves

Emerald lights shift and shimmer

Stronger now, dancing across the fall sky

Howls cease, but my wonder continues

Alone with the magic of the night!
